Hands down, one of the BEST dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! We were seated immediately with absolutely no wait. The restaurant wasn’t packed, the atmosphere was great, and they were playing AWESOME music, which made the whole experience even better. Our hibachi chef, Tomas, was incredible! We had our 2 year old with us who was a little nervous about the fire at first, and Tomas went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and make the experience special for her. He was so patient and engaging with her, and it made such a difference in helping her enjoy the experience. ❤️ Our server, Margarita, was also fantastic! She checked on us so often and made sure we had everything we needed. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we were having a great experience. And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to the manager. She was absolutely amazing! You could tell she genuinely cared about the restaurant, her staff, and the customers. Between Tomas, Margarita, the manager, and the rest of the staff, the service was honestly some of the BEST we’ve experienced in a very long time. And on top of all of that, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! My family and I visited Sakekawa on Research Forest on 6/21, and after several great visits, it was finally time to leave the review they deserve. We were a party of six, four adults and two kids, and were seated promptly at the hibachi grill. Five of us ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp, and one ordered surf and turf. They handled our requests perfectly, including double vegetables instead of rice for me, double rice instead of vegetables for another person in our group, and preparing my wife’s seafood gluten-free and dairy-free with no butter. Our chef, Juan, was fantastic. He was funny, great with the kids, and kept the whole table entertained, but the best part was that the food was excellent. The rice is amazing, the steak and shrimp were delicious, and honestly there wasn’t anything on the table that wasn’t great. Even the salad with that ginger dressing deserves a shoutout. I need more of that. This is exactly why we keep coming back. Great food, great service, very accommodating, and a fun experience for the whole family. If you haven’t been, you should. Sakekawa is an all-around great place.

Sakekawa offers a wide variety of food and plate options, the service and the atmosphere is truly wonderful. The food was absolutely Delicious , we are looking forward to our next visit!

We dine here often. My family loves the steak & chicken fried rice! Tried the Shane & Hannah rolls this time. Fantastic! Plus their onion soup (never go without adding this - love) and the garlic-something edamame which is always delicious.
